IS THE SEMESTER OVER YET?

89 days ago I started what I consider torture, although most commonly refer it as "school" in today's lingo.  I am in my junior year of college, and therefore am taking a 15 credit hour load (5 classes for ya youngin's) pursing a Health Administration degree. Do not get me wrong, college is GREAT. Some refer back to it as "the best year's of my life," and I can completely understand where they get that statement from. Between the football games, fraternity parties, sorority events, free food, friends, no bills, living off daddy's credit card--oh but wait, there is college classes as well. College is STRESSFUL. Basically it is the everyday choice of choosing to put friends before homework or vice-versa. With the semester winding down and finals approaching, I always need that extra push to finish the semester off strong. If you have read this far down, do not be procrastinating and go study for finals!

Winter Essentials

CHRISTMAS IS COMING, CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
Start lighting the wood in the fire place, enjoy a sizzling cup of hot chocolate (with extra marshmallows of course), and turn on ABC Family for their 25 Days of Christmas specials. A few of my favorite things in the Christmas season is a tie between plaid long-sleeved shirts, booties (which must ALWAYS be paired with lace socks), and vests. Of course no outfit is complete without my staple pearls (earrings, necklaces, bracelets; there is never such a thing as "too many pearls").

Essential #1 is this J.Crew Oxford cobalt, red, and emerald green shirt. It retails for $75, but I never suggest paying "actual retail price." I am a firm believer that any prepster on a budget could always find a similar style from either J.Crew Factory, Old Navy, or Forever 21.

Essential #2 is any colored vest to spice up your BLS (basic long sleeve). Whether it is Patagonia fleece or Old Navy quilted down vest, each southern belle should have a few stockpiled in their closet for those days when the sun ain't shinning.

Essential #3 is no other than a plaid blanket scarf (#basicaf). I purchased mine from an inexpensive website called SheIn (basically with this website you're one step away from your laptop contracting a virus, because its that SKETCH). Southern Belle decided to purchase a visa gift card, so her credit card information wouldn't get stolen.

Winter in Florida is more like a judgement call whether the weather that day will be like the Sahara desert going through menopause or antarctic on Christmas day. Never the less, a southern belle can never be caught dressed below a 10 out in public.

Meet Me

est. 1995

February 5th, 1995: The air was cool and crisp, love in the air, and the birth of a cheese-lovin', fashion obsessed, future sorority girl, whom many know as A$. I chose to grace my parents presence on a day many Americans decide to eat more than their body weight in potato chips, wear eccentric colors of football teams they may or may not know the name of,  put more effort in their Instagram filter  rather than the penalty the ref just called; twas this day was Super Bowl. Flash forward twenty years later, I am the still the same football-crazed southern belle I was on day one. The purpose of this blog is to waste a few minutes you could be spending on working on homework or just to add a little laughter in your day-to-day life. Fluent in sarcasm, I'll always be here for you.
